I have been toying with the idea of doing a section about the artists of Red Rose for a few years now. It took fellow collector Dave Huebert
to get me going with it. Most of what is here is actually his hard work. Thanks, Dave, for doing the work and also for sharing it with us.
I think Red Rose would have to agree that the tea card promotion was certainly successful. What the heck, people are still collecting
them almost 45 years after they were issued. Part of the reason for their success is the incredible artwork on the cards themselves.
Red Rose's parent company at the time, Brooke Bond, commissioned the National Wildlife Federation to procure art for images on the cards.
Over time I plan to add informational pages on each artist. I'll start with the largest contributor and work my way down.
